DMS constantly strives to offer unrivalled support to our clients as we endeavour to source products that do not compromise our environmental beliefs, working with business partners, manufacturers and shippers that support ‘green issues’ worldwide to reduce our Carbon footprint, including the use of timber from sustainable sources and using recycled packaging at every opportunity.
We are proud to keep British factories working as part of our Company policy in the supply of products and services including Domestic Furniture and House Packs for the FCO Contract CPG1512 awarded to Diplomatic Mission Supplies in 2011.

Given the nature of furniture manufacture and the use of natural resources, it is inevitable that there will be a knock on effect on the environment.
We strive to minimise the effect that our production has on the environment by continually assessing our 'Environmental Foot Print' in conjunction with the UK Furniture Research Association and working closely with the Environmental Protection Agency to ensure that we conform to the industry code of practice.
Every effort is made to ensure that all manufacturing procedures have systems in place that will help reduce the effect that we have on the environment. This comes from increased efficiencies and closely monitoring our emissions in all aspects of our business.
In order to reduce our 'Environmental Foot Print' we closely monitor all aspects of our manufacturing procedures, from sourcing our timber from FSC and other approved forests and suppliers, to using water based lacquers which have less emissions in the finishing processes than other techniques available.
DMS is able to provide documentary evidence to prove compliance on request.
